Synesthesia

A group of related conditions where stimulation of one “Cognitive/Sensor Pathway” can simultaneously stimulate a different once. Two types of common synesthesia that evoke color are:

• Grapheme–color Synesthesia is the most common form, where Letters and Numbers evoke colors.
• Chromesthesia, where sound evokes color
