Achromatomaly
Achromatomaly is a term that has been posited as a new form of colorblindness or associated with other forms of colorblindness like Incomplete Achromatopsia or Blue Cone Monochromacy.
The term was coined by a programmer in 2008 who extrapolated the naming convention of dichromacies and anomalous trichromacies (e.g. protanopia to protanomaly) and applied it to a less severe form of Achromatopsia. It has no scientific basis, and the simulation associated with it is effectively a desaturation filter. This simulation probably best represents a form of Mixed Anomalous Trichromacy, where both red-green and blue-yellow opponent channels are affected to similar degrees.
